A Western Australian
leader in Aged Care and Retirement Living is
seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their Accounting team in their
Perth office. This is a role with a range of responsibilities,
primarily Accounts Receivable & Payable, Bank Reconciliations &
Payroll.
Sharing similar duties with an existing staff member, you will be
managed by and report to the Book Keeper and also liaise with the Financial
Accountant and CFO as required.

Ideally, though not essentially, you will possess a qualification
at least at Diploma level and have experience within a similar role. You will
be need to be an excellent communicator because you will be liaising with
vendors and delicate clientele.

Preparation of very basic income & expenditure
summaries will be important part of the role. Hence knowledge of
Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook skills are essential

Key Selection Criteria:
- Process
Resident billing on a monthly and fortnightly cycle - Process
Direct debits on a monthly and fortnightly cycle - Monitor
Accounts Payable and Receivable ensuring timely processing of receipts and
payments - Makes
bank transfers and reconciles monthly bank statements. - Monitors
revenues and expenditures, ensuring data is recorded in the financial
accounting system - Provide
assistance to other staff in understanding the use of the
computerised financial system and assist departmental personnel
with proper expenditure coding, document processing and other
accounting related activities - Preparation
of fortnightly payroll and administration of payroll related work
including Super - Preparation
and lodgment of statutory reports i.e. BAS, PAYG Payment Summaries, FBT
returns, etc
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Desirable qualification: Diploma
Minimum Experience of at least 7 years in a similar role and
industry
