ECTRIMS-MAGNIMS Research Fellowship for European Researchers

ECTRIMS and MAGNIMS are jointly funding
research fellowship to European young researchers for the
application of magnetic resonance studies to MS at renowned host
institutions within the MAGNIMS network in Europe. ECTRIMS will support
two fellowships annually with an annual stipend of up to €50,000 for
one year. Applicants should be under 40 years and affiliated to an
academic department which can guarantee a continuation of his or her
research. The deadline for application is 01 / February / 2014.

Study Subject(s): The
fellowships are awarded to young researchers for the application of magnetic
resonance studies to MS.
Course Level: The fellowships are awarded to conduct research at
renowned host institutions within the MAGNIMS network in Europe.
Scholarship Provider: The European Committee for Treatment and Research
in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) and Magnetic Resonance in Multiple Sclerosis
(MAGNIMS)
Scholarship can be taken at: Europe
Eligibility: Applicants
should be under 40 years of age and affiliated to an academic department which
can guarantee a continuation of his or her research.

Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Slovenia, Spain,
Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, UK and Vatican City) can apply for these
fellowships.
Scholarship Description: ECTRIMS and MAGNIMS are pleased to announce its Research
Fellowship program for the coming year. This fellowship wants to foster the
development of young researchers in the field of MS by supporting their work on
scientific projects at renowned host institutions within the MAGNIMS network in
Europe. The program shall achieve the transfer and broadening of knowledge
regarding the application of magnetic resonance to MS research and will promote
the researcher’s integration into the international scientific community.
Number of award(s): ECTRIMS will support two fellowships annually.
Duration of award(s): Fellowships are awarded for one year.
What does it cover? ECTRIMS will support two fellowships annually, each with duration
of 1 year, with an annual stipend of up to €50,000.
Selection Criteria: The decision will be made within the Steering Committee of MAGNIMS
based on the following criteria:
– Applicants potential for scientific development including the capacity to
carry out the proposed research project
– Quality of the research project and its potential to serve the aims of the
program
– Appropriateness of home and host institutions

– Project description according to the format described in the application form
– Letter of acceptance from and short description of the host institution
– Letter of support from the home institution
