This challenging and fast paced role requires a
highly organised and motivated individual with extensive technical textile and
garment construction experience and a thorough understanding of the design and
development process. Liaising daily with our USA office, factories, and
designers this position requires an exceptional eye for detail and a proactive
approach to problem solving and process management.

Duties will involve the following primary
functions:

- Coordination and management of all tasks
required within the Quality Control and Fabrication department. - Leading garment fit and detail comment
sessions during the sampling process, incorporating feedback from the
merchandising team and designers. - Implementing and maintaining garment quality
control and fabric procedures and standards, ensuring continuous process
improvements. - Communication of quality control issues to
factories and suppliers, resolving issues accurately and in a timely
manner. - Responsible for analysing garment costing
during the sampling process, liaising with factories and designers
ensuring final costing meets all company requirements. - Managing the custom order process for our
premiere label, Martina Liana. - Coordination of changes made to testing
samples during the sampling process. - Travelling to off shore factories for sampling
QC checks of new collections, 4 times per year or the equivalent of
approximately 4 – 5 weeks travel per calendar year.
To succeed in this role you will possess the following
qualifications:

- Have excellent knowledge of garment
construction including knowledge of sewing, pattern making, grading, and
the ability to do trade sketches. - Have superior organisational skills and
administrative strengths - Have excellent numerical skills
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Be able to work effectively within a team and
also be able to coordinate junior staff members - Have the ability to self manage
- Possess strong time management skills to meet
tight deadlines - Have meticulous attention to detail
- Have exceptional written and verbal
communication skills - Be procedure and process orientated with a
strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
