Water Conservation Postgraduate Bursary at University of Birmingham in UK

The Worshipful Company of Water Conservators,
UK offers postgraduate bursary at University of Birmingham. To be eligible
for this Bursary, applicants must hold an offer of a place on the Hydrogeology
MSc programme and must be resident in the UK for at least five years.
A bursary of £4000 per year towards tuition fees will be
awarded. The closing date for applications for the 2013/14 session is 31st
August, 2013.

Eligibility: All students with an offer of a place on the Hydrogeology MSc programme
can apply for funding from the Bursary, provided that they have been resident
in the UK for at least five years. An award, or awards, will be made on the
basis of financial need and academic ability.
Scholarship Open for International Students: UK, EU and Overseas students (resident in the UK for at least five
years) can apply for this Bursary.
Scholarship Description: The Worshipful Company of Water Conservators has generously
awarded the Hydrogeology MSc course a bursary of £4000 per year ‘to assist a
student or students who may find themselves in difficulty with the payment of
their course fees’. Recipients should be prepared to make presentations to
industry or professional bodies based on their MSc dissertation topic.
What does it cover? £4,000 towards tuition fees. The award will be made by reduction of
the fee for the course rather than in cash.
Selection Criteria: An award, or awards, will be made on the basis of financial need and
academic ability.
