learning, directed reading and practicals. Assessment of taught modules is by a
mix of coursework and examination. The scholarship will enable to
contribute to the novel field of research by analyzing climate data
(rainfall, soil moisture, temperature…) for changing patterns over space and
time. Two study regions will be compared: The UK has a temperate region and
Southern Africa as a semi-arid region.
