Dance Instructor
City Arts is located
in Kigali, Rwanda. It seeks to be a center for arts education and a creative
resource for both children and adults. It is a collaborative, community-based organization,
providing a safe arena for individuals to explore their creativity through
performance and visual arts. City Arts is founded on the belief that creative
expression is vital to the healthy development of the individual.
We are seeking a qualified candidate to teach children and teen ballet and
hiphop classes from beginner to advanced. Candidates must have excellent
knowledge of anatomy, physiology, technique, and teaching methods. Any
additional specializations the candidate offers will be excitedly implemented.
Candidates are expected to create a stimulating, attractive, safe, and
inspiring class.
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience teaching ballet and hiphop
• an eagerness to work with children from all economic and regional backgrounds
• a desire to live abroad
• excellent communication and organizational skills
• the ability to show initiative
• enthusiasm, stamina, good health
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Relevant work experience in the field
