Core mission of Position:
- The Judicial Research Clerks will assist
Judges of the Supreme Court as well as the High Court Chamber for
International Crimes with administrative and legal tasks, freeing Judges
of these so that they can concentrate onto aspects of judging.

Specific tasks:
a. Conducting legal research;
b. Preparing memoranda (including bench memos,
which appellate judges use during oral argument);

duties, such as maintaining the chambers library, assembling documents, and

Qualifications and Experience :
a. Advanced university degree in law, with
significant academic background in public international law or professional
experience in the field.

b. A first level university degree in combination
with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of advanced university

c. Post-graduate studies in public international
law would be an asset;

d. Two years’ experience in the settlement of
international legal dispute with an international organization, government, law
firm or other private sector entity would be desirable.
