Responsibilities:
Under the
supervision of the Project Coordinator will assist with the planning,
implementation, and monitoring of partnerships, special initiatives, and
developing and maintaining policy and procedures for the RAMPS program.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities include the following.
Organizing,
coordinating, and planning operational facets of a global program and its
related activities which include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist
with organization of four workshops promoting OICI locally produced food
produced Super
Gari. - Assist
with dissemination of Super
Gari media campaign materials - Draft
and/or prepare program reports and correspondence as needed - Assist
in the collection, formatting and dissemination of field-level best
practices to encourage their use by all ongoing activities of similar
nature - Liaise
with OICI HANDS Program staff - Assist
with monitoring and evaluation duties by working with staff and partners
to document outcomes, successes and areas for improvement - May
assist in developing and coordinating program-related conferences,
conventions, or meetings. - Coordinate
and/or represent OICI in professional circles through meetings,
conferences and presentations.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in a Communication, International Affairs or other related field - Food
processing and INGO experience preferred. - Strong
working knowledge of Microsoft applications and spread sheets - Strong
attention to detail, well organized and ability to problem solve.
Physical
Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to
talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or
controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The
employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
