Edinburgh Napier University Project Evaluation Officer Job Vacancy in UK

 The Scottish Funding Council
(SFC) has made available funding to post 1992 Scottish institutions to support
regional coherence. As part of this, the University has successfully attracted
additional funding over 3 years to support our graduate employability work. The
overall aims of the funded project are to:

  • Improve
    graduate level employment; and
  • Increase
    the number of students embarking on student mobility programmes.

 As part of
this project, there a new part time, fixed term Project Evaluation Officer post
within Student & Academic Services (which works to provide high quality and
effective professional services to support potential and current students from
their initial enquiry to Edinburgh Napier University through to graduation and
beyond). 

 To support the
work of the project, alongside established evaluation activity within Student
Development & Wellbeing, the Project Evaluation Officer will contribute to
a programme of analysis and evaluation to measure progress against targets,
including project effectiveness on student outcomes.  In addition, the
role holder will contribute to writing and co-ordinating reports that inform
on-going project activity and promote emerging good practice, both within the
institution and the wider HE sector.

 Qualified to
degree level, applicants should have experience of planning and undertaking
market/social research projects and of analysing and presenting market/social
research findings to inform decision making.   In addition,
postholders should be able to demonstrate excellent numeracy and communication
skills as well as excellent analytical and report writing skills. A proactive,
positive and collaborative approach to working with a wide range of colleagues
and strong organisational and project management abilities, are also essential.
