Scholarship Description: The International Max Planck Research School “Primary Metabolism and
Plant Growth” (IMPRS-PMPG) is a doctoral programme in plant genomics and

programme at regular intervals.

Duration of award(s):IMPRS-PMPG doctoral fellowships are awarded for 3 years.
What does it cover? The fellowships cover living expenses and include a bursary for
conference travel, lab visits etc. For students living expenses, they will have
approximately 1,100 Euro per month. Bench fees and consumables are covered by
the hosting lab. In exceptional cases, a bursary for bench fees and consumables
will be granted. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis. There are
no tuition fees for the doctoral programmes except for the semester fee charged
by the University for matriculation.
