UTAS University Scholarships in Orchestral String Instruments in Australia

University of Tasmania is offering 20 scholarships for outstanding students. Scholarships are available for both
undergraduate
and postgraduate students. The award is worth up
to $4,000 for three years. These scholarships are available to string
players commencing or re-enrolling in an undergraduate or postgraduate course
at the Conservatorium of music in Hobart.

Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing
undergraduate or postgraduate degree level.

Eligibility: -Available to string players commencing or re-enrolling in an
undergraduate or postgraduate course at the Conservatorium of Music in Hobart.
-To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Distinction
result in all units studied each semester.
Scholarship Open for International Students: International students can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Description: The Vice-Chancellor at UTAS has initiated generous support for students
studying at the Conservatorium of Music through establishing 20 scholarships
for talented orchestral string players.
Number of awards offered: 20 Scholarships are offered.
Duration of award: Scholarship is offered for Up to three years.
What does it cover? Total offer is of Course fees plus up to $4,000 per year.
Scholarship Application Deadline: –16 December 2012 for students commencing in Semester 1, 2013
-30 June 2013 for students commencing in Semester 2, 2013.
