The Mwalimu Nyerere African Union Scholarship
Scheme support Africa-India Fellowship Programme. The Fellowship is provided to
learn in Agriculture. Applicants must be a National/Citizen of an African Union
Member State. Applicants should have good knowledge of English. Fellowship for
Master’s programme covers 12,000 Indian Rupees per month for two years. For PhD programme covers 15,000 Indian Rupees per
month for three years. Preference will be given to students who have already
secured admissions at Indian Universities. The Fellowship application deadline
is 28th February 2013.

Eligibility:
i. Be a National/Citizen of an African Union Member
State
ii. Have good knowledge of English
iii. Have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement as evidenced by
academic transcripts. An applicant for Master’s Programme must meet the
following minimum criteria:
a) Be under the age of thirty five (35) years.
b) Be a holder of a four year Bachelor’s Degree in respective field of
Agriculture, at least Upper Second Class Honours
iv. Have at least two (2) years post-graduation work experience
v. Be willing to commit to work in an African Union Member State on completion
of study for at least three (3) years.
