To be eligible for the Women in
Engineering Scholarship, you must be:
-Be currently enrolled in full-time study in an Engineering degree (Mining,
Environmental, Civil, Mechanical etc)
-Be in the final 2 years of a Bachelor degree
-Have a GPA of 5 or more (or equivalent to 65% or more)

Description: Australia’s leading integrated
construction, mining and services company Thiess, in partnership with the
Minerals Council of Australia, the national body representing Australia’s
mining and minerals processing industry, invites students from across the
country to apply for the Thiess/Minerals Council of Australia Women in
Engineering Scholarship. The Thiess – MCA partnership is helping identify the
next generation of talented female engineers. The strong numbers of applicants
in previous years bodes well for achieving our goal of increasing the number of
female engineers in our sector.
