What is the European Humanitarian Volunteer Programme?

The European Humanitarian Volunteer Programme is a second pilot project starting in September 2012 to build humanitarian talent, capacity and European solidarity. It forms part of the second round of pilot projects
being part-funded by the European Union to contribute to the establishment of a European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps (EVHAC) as enshrined in the Lisbon Treaty. See the following link for more information on the EVHAC: http://ec.europa.eu/echo/policies/evhac_en.htm
