Job Title: General Manager, Sales
Department: Sales and Distribution
Job Description:
o Oversee proper cascade of target revenues to the regions in line with peculiarities identified in such regions
o Ensure the achievement of revenue, sales and acquisition targets for both voice and data products in line with network capacity in the region (in both the big dealer and retail outlets)
o Liaise with Logistics and Distribution department to plan and ensure product availability.
o Analyze on a constant basis ‘result’ versus ‘target’ and liaise with Business Development department to develop interventions to align both.
o Oversee sales force development and productivity through excellent sales management
o Ensure territory coverage in terms of sales circle and liaise with Logistics and Business Development units to maintain 95% stock availability and recommended retail price (RRP) respectively
o Ensure maintenance of dealer optimum service levels, regional dealership and sales management in the regions
Job Conditions: Normal MTNN working conditions
Reporting To: Sales and Distribution Executive
Required Skills:
o A first degree in relevant discipline
o Possession of a post graduate degree
o 15 years sales and marketing experience (ideally in Channel development ), which includes at least 8 years at a senior management level
o FMCG/ Telecommunications/ Retail Banking/ service industry context
