Eligibility:
1. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student in an Ohio college or university program.
2. Applicant must be conducting research in bioproducts, biobased materials, bioengineering, biopolymers or a related field.
3. Applicant must be focused on the development and use of biobased products and materials derived from soybeans.
4. Applicants must have proof of legal residency in the United States.
5. Scholarship funds are to be used directly for tuition, fees, lab fees and books.
6. Scholarship funds will be paid to the educational institution.
7. Scholarship is not renewable, although recipients may reapply annually.

Scholarship Description: The future prosperity and long-term vitality of the American agricultural industry depend on science and technology, as applied to agricultural production, and to the development of new biobased chemicals, polymers and other renewable materials (bioproducts) for industrial and consumer uses.
This program provides scholarships graduate students at Ohio colleges and universities to help accelerate the application of science and technology to agricultural production, and to spur the development of the bioproducts industry in Ohio.
