Eligibility:
The candidate should either have obtained a MSc, or acquired a total of 240 higher education credits (of which at least 60 at advanced level), or acquired in some alternative fashion the equivalent knowledge in geosciences. Preference will be given to those with a background in paleoclimate reconstructions. The PhD dissertation will be written in English.

Scholarship Description: We seek to recruit a candidate for a PhD position in palaeoclimatology. The student will be a part of the Climate Research School (CRS) at Stockholm University www.bbcc.su.se/index.php/education. Education of PhD students with climate related research topics is carried out at all departments involved in the Bert Bolin Centre for Climate Research www.bbcc.su.se/. PhD students at these departments follow their respective home departments’ study programs, and they are encouraged to attend courses organized by the Climate Research School.
