Eligibility: For students enrolling in a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Economics and Mathematics. Scholars will be encouraged to subsequently pursue a combined Bachelor of Science with Honours in Economics and Mathematics.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: These scholarships were established by the University of Canterbury in 2007 to recognise the academic achievement of students from secondary schools within New Zealand. The scholarships are awarded in memory of John McMillan, one of the University’s most distinguished economics graduates and a Professor of International Management and Economics at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
