Required skills:
• Ability to effectively analyse, resolve & communicate complex technical issues in management and service angles with understanding of the complexities of managing today’s mission critical data centers
• Ability to coordinate and manage tasks for projects such as GREEN DC, Data Center optimization, DC Consolidation to insure that all elements of work meet the quality standards, defined scope, and costs.
• Ability to work with personnel at all levels, DC Strategy organizations, and Vendor / Contract organizations to drive SLA commitments.
• Ability to create an excellent team climate with rewards & recognition to drive performance & standards to meet and exceed the operational metrics defined.
• Ability to cover 24 x 7 Management escalations for Service calls.
• Effective Vendor and Contract Management
• Ensure, through training, annual appraisal and vendor management that all direct and third party operational staff are fully conversant with all standard and emergency procedures
• 2+ years of project management experience for M&E infrastructure.
• 5+ years working experience within a Mission Critical Data Center Environment or equivalent.
• 3+ years of managerial experience for data center M&E operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to IT infrastructure operations with ITIL is preferable.
