MANAGER, SERVICE DELIVERY
Position Summary: Manage daily operations, processes and development of the Pacnet Service Delivery team for domestic services offered by Pacnet

Job Context:
Role of Business Unit: Order / Project Management/ Service Delivery
Reporting Relationships: Reporting to Senior Manager, Service Delivery
Communications (Internal & External): Working with both external and internal parties like customers, internal support group (operations, order desk, billing teams) and external vendors.

Staff/Financial Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for any direct reports? Yes
• Any specific budget responsibility? No
Special Challenges: Good communication skill, technical skill and meticulous.

Responsibilities:

Key Tasks/Actions/Processes:
• Manage the Domestic Service Delivery team in Singapore and Malaysia
• Manage the order entry of the Pacnet Domestic products
• Manage the installation and commissioning of services provided by Pacnet
• Coordinate all aspects of the installation, including on-net and off-net portions, to achieve on time delivery
• Handles escalations that is Service Delivery related
• Ensure that systems and databases timely updated to provide an accurate tracking report of services under implementation
• Work with different team such as Complex Bid, Product, Pacnet Design Center, Operations etc.
• Interface with external carriers / vendors / local access providers / agents / BMOs to deliver services to meet customer requirements
• Interface with Network Operations Centres (NOCs), telehouses, cable stations and engineering departments to deliver and test service components related to customer projects
• Create and maintain customer project timelines, identify dependencies and accurately assess risks
• Manage the team to ensure smooth delivery of the services
• Develop the team and improve the processes for better results
• Produce reports for Management reviews
• Involvement in product launches and developments
• Take on and manage any other ad-hoc projects tasked by Management

Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential:
• Well-developed written and verbal communications in English and local language
• Good interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Analytical mind, ability to identify and quickly resolve problems impacting the customer
• Exceptional time-management, multi-tasking, and delegating skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and commitments
• MS Project, VISIO, MS Office skills
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Engineering or related technical disciplines, or equivalent direct working experience in the telecommunications industry.

Desirable:
• 3 years of People Management skill
• Continued education in project management, or accreditation of project management skills by publicly recognized authorities
• 5+ years of working experience in the telecommunications industry
