We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our team.
ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecast and budget
• Budgeting, variance analysis, managing fixed assets and capital expenditures.
• Prepare and ensure proper GST reporting and tax compliance
• Manages company cash flow & cash pool facility
• Oversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions of holding and affiliated companies
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts, review subsidiary companies’ accounts
• Good knowledge of statutory reporting and tax compliance
• Liaise with external auditors, legal and professional consultants, bankers, and statutory boards
• Continuous review and improvement of internal control
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to management regarding cost savings, profits, generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies
• Maintain, review and implement financial and accounting policies and procedures
• Supervise a team of accounting individuals
Professional requirements and attributes:
• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 5 years of experience handling full set of accounts with a non-profit organization preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Accpac Window system
• Driven and highly motivated individual who is hands-on with an eye for details
• Possess strong supervisory skills
• A strong team-player who is able to communicate effectively with all levels, including Board members
