Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. Our rigid truck manufacturing facility, located in Guelph, Ontario is also the Head Office, as has been in operation since 1973. At this facility we employ approximately 375 employees.

Non Destructive Specialist
The position is responsible to analyze customer complaints, develop service bulletins and procedures for Ultrasonic Testing of structural components and steel castings. To perform NDT testing, train and supervise inspectors on nondestructive techniques, i.e. Ultrasonic Testing and Magnetic Particle Inspection.
The incumbent must have minimum UT level two (2) certification and will possess post secondary education preferably with MPI and RT certifications; and a minimum of ten (10) years related experience including knowledge of phased array UT. Five (5) % travel is required.
Procurement Manager
The position will be responsible to plan, direct, monitor and evaluate all procurement activities to fulfill the company’s strategic objectives. Execute the purchasing duties for the company, purchase production components and outsourcing services from distributors and aggressively negotiate terms and condition.
The incumbent will possess post secondary education in Business in supply chain management and a minimum of nine (9) years previous experience. Previous experience preferably in mechanical design or off highway mobile equipment.
Buyer
The position will be responsible to procure materials to meet production schedules, following acceptable purchasing policies/procedures. Research and establish new sources of supplies.
The incumbent will possess post secondary education in Business in supply chain management and a minimum of five (5) years previous experience. Previous experience preferably in mechanical design or off highway mobile equipment.
The incumbents for each of the above positions will possess the following skills:

* Proven analytical, organizational and communication skills.
* Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Previous experience in a unionized environment
* PC Literacy – MS Office: Word and Excel. Previous experience with ERP systems
