Proposal Engineers (Telecommunications)
The Job:
This Division focuses on providing essential pre-sales engineering support to field sales divisions
Major Activities : Project tender preparation / assessment of technical requirements, customer specification review, vendor evaluations, costing estimates, specs configuration and AUTOCAD 2D drawings, vendor sourcing, negotiations and collaborations on product and commercial issues.
Work closely with sales departments, customers & vendors on project specifications and clarifications during pre-sales or order negotiation process, assess and manage requests for proposal quotes on the supply of telecommunication solutions ( example CCTV, PAGA, Radio & Telephone Systems)
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
• Minimum diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, Datacomm or Mechatronics
• Basic knowledge in telecommunication systems advantageous
• Positive individual who is proactive and able to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to learn and explore new technologies
• Possess high degree of initiative
• Sound documentation and communication skills in a client facing environment
• Suitable candidates may be considered for field sales positions.
• Fresh diploma graduates welcome
