Richmond Fellowship Senior Support Worker – Mental Health Job Vacancy in London

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll help us develop and deliver Supported Housing service in Haringey, enabling our people with mental health needs to gain increasing independence and develop their full potential.

Your remit will involve:
• Helping to keep the service running smoothly
• Deputising for the Service Manager as needed
• Empowering clients to make the most of their potential and maximise their independence
• Acting as keyworker to a defined group of clients, and helping to develop and deliver their personal development programmes
• Supporting and supervising other members of staff
• Getting involved in developing the service, and involving clients in this process
• Building strong links within the community,
• Promoting a wider understanding of mental health issues

You must have:
• Track record in a similar role
• Experience of working within SP/CSCI or other Quality Assured systems for Social Care workers
• Experience of keyworking/group work
• Ability to engage, motivate and empower service users
• Organisational skills to plan and prioritise a busy, varied workload
• Qualified QCF Assessor or willingness to study
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Flexibility to work on-call and shifts, including weekends and evenings
