Salary will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
Desirable – An awareness of the “This is our Faith” new religious education resource. Also attendance at CPD training for the delivery of the “This is our Faith” religious education programme.
Essential – A certificate to teach religious education in a Catholic school. Experience of delivering the “Alive O” programme, experience of Sacramental preparation.

This post is temporary due to Maternity leave and considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
