Job Purpose: The Advocate Nations of Africa Teaching Masters teach the Advocate Mastery
K-12 curriculum and train local teacher apprentices in the Advocate Mastery
Approach and in classroom management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Advocate Mastery Approach
Teaching Masters in Liberia will be responsible for learning and mastering the technical to leverage the Advocate Mastery Approach, and to teach others to use the Approach within Liberia.
Open Source Education Project Material Expert
The Open Source Education Project provides a complete K-12 curriculum for use in developing nations. The Teaching Master must study this material and pass all mastery tests to be certified a Teaching Master. The Teaching Master will be responsible for teaching local teachers how to use the Open Source Education Project material.
K-12 Classroom Teaching
The Teaching Master is responsible for assessing Liberian students and teaching classes as assigned by the designated Advocate Teaching HeadMaster for the school.
K-12 Teacher Apprentice Master
The Teaching Master is responsible for teaching at least two (2) teaching apprentices during a given school cycle.
School System Implementation
A Teaching Master will be trained and is responsible for working with other Teaching Masters to set up and operate a new school or to help reform an existing school.
Education Advocate in Liberia
The Teaching Master is the personal advocate for education in Liberia for the Advocate Nations of Africa organization. The Teaching Master must promote and advocate education access and reform throughout the Republic of Liberia.
Note: Candidates only need to be a high school graduate. Advocate Nations provides all training.
