Victim Support Care Unit Manager Job Vacancy in England

This role will be responsible for leading a team to provide an effective service to people affected by crime from all sections of the community and to ensure efficient operation of the team. You will provide leadership and strategic direction to the VCU team, by means of introducing effective technology, processes and procedures. You will have overall accountability for the performance of the Victim Care Units, which will be measured against National and Divisional plans.

Experience of managing a team of people is essential, as well as experience of managing staff delivering services in a complex, customer-focused organisation. You will need proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at senior levels and managing change programmes and projects whilst building effective teams. You will require experience of gathering and analysing information from a range of sources as well as experience managing budgets and implementing strategic and operational plans. This role will require some travel within the region as well working some unsociable hours including weekends.
