HCT are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Health and Safety Manager to lead to promoting a genuine safety and quality culture within the group through engagement within the business. It is essential that the HCT Group adheres to all safety legislation and that all policies and practices are adopted to achieve and deliver excellent, safe transport for all of their stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing appropriate safety measures and helping minimise operational losses, occupational health problems and injuries. Advising managers on best practise, you will need to set safety improvement targets and carry out safety audits whilst producing statistics and developing internal policies. You will also be responsible for quality assurance which will involve monitoring the performance of the quality management system and providing training which will enable others to achieve this quality.
The successful candidate for this role will hold a NEBOSH Diploma and will be a member of the ISOH. Strong experience in a similar role and exposure to quality management systems such as ISO9001 and Investors in People is essential. You will need to have outstanding communication skills with the confidence to advise senior management staff as well as practical knowledge of H&S legislation.
