On behalf of our client we are actively recruiting for a Formulation Manager with experience in fragrance formulation. You will manage a team of 3 formulation chemists: responsible for their recruitment, training, setting targets and holding development reviews. Reporting to the Formulation Development Director you will have the following responsibilities:
Main interfaces:
Global Fragrance Marketing Category Manager,
Fragrance NPD project team (Supply, Packaging, Planning).
Process Development and Product Testing team.
Regulatory Affairs and Technical Compliance team,
The job is based in R&D Ireland but demands significant travel to Stockholm.
External contacts will be mainly with fragrance houses and raw material suppliers.
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in a relevant scientific discipline preferably with an additional post-graduate qualification
Minimum 10 years experience a in technical role in the cosmetics industry with a significant time spent on fragrance.
3 years experience managing a team.
Good track record in New Product Development.
Evidence of working with marketing teams to turn product concepts into stable effective products to meet consumer needs.
Demonstration and application of innovative approaches to Technology and Product Development.
