£28,000 to £32,000 plus benefits and bonus
This well known consultancy firm is a leading player within the pensions sector and following the growth of the business through the acquisition of new portfolios they are expanding their team and require a Pension Technician.
The Pension Technician will be responsible for dealing with all technical issues including processes and systems, training, managing procedures, project work, research and other technical tasks whilst maintaining FSA compliance and business standards. Legislation and other regulatory changes with play a key part in this role, you will be responsible for analysing the impact of such changes and taking the necessary course of action to implement this across the team.
Additionally you will act as the main point of contact for all complex queries, dealing internally with the pension consultants and actuaries whilst also dealing with external regulators, clients and other third parties.
