The State Health Society under NRHM Programme invites online applications on the prescribed proforma for filling up the posts on contractual basis in various Health Institutions in the State.
Medical Officer (Female) – 31 Posts
Qualification:
MBBS from any Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India and registered with Punjab Medical Council. Preference will be given to MD Obstetrics/Gynae
Salary: Rs. 35,000/- PM for MBBS candidates and Rs.40000/- PM for Gynecologist
Age: Not more than 65 years
Nature of Job:
Purely on contract basis and the posts will be place specific and non transferable. Further, waiting list of above mentioned post will be valid for one year from the date of issue of advertisement. They will be posted mostly at District Headquarter and will be required to visit Government Schools throughout the year. Their main duty is to examine adolescent girls with view to guide them regarding reproductive & sexual health
Knowledge of Punjabi:
Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi up to Matric standard. If the candidate has not passed Punjabi up to Matric , he/she will be given 6 months time to pass the subject
