We are seeking an experienced software developer in Toronto who can improve and/or redevelop our energy monitoring system, EnergyBrain (http://www.energybrain.ca). The current system is written in ASP.net with a SQL database. It performs queries on the database, collects online weather data and produces charts and reports.
We plan to produce a second version of EnergyBrain over the next several months, either by working with the existing system or by starting from scratch. Although the majority of our software development needs are for this project, there may be additional opportunities in the future and we look forward to maintaining an ongoing relationship with anyone who gets involved.
We are not software developers ourselves, so we are looking for someone with the experience to begin working independently without having to do extensive research. We are not looking for an “assistant”, rather someone who can take our input and carry out the software side independently.
