Background
The Government of Rwanda (GoR) represented by the Ministry of Infrastructure (MININFRA) plans to develop indigenous geothermal resources. The target is to generate over 300 MWe from geothermal resources in 7 years. MININFRA would therefore like to recruit experienced key staff for its geothermal exploration and development unit. All the candidates should have the attributes listed below;

Recruitment of a Reservoir Engineer

a) Job description
1. The Reservoir Engineer, together with the Head of Geothermal Development will develop a sustainable business model that would deliver over 300 MWe of steam equivalent for Rwanda.
2. The Reservoir Engineer should be highly dynamic and visionary with the responsibility of enhancing EWSA/MININFRA institutional capacity, management and administrative activities.
3. Responsible for coordination of all decisions, logistics and activities related to geothermal research, exploration and reservoir modelling, monitoring and management.
4. Responsible for coordination of all decisions, logistics and activities related to Reservoir Engineering geothermal research, exploration and reservoir management.

b) Key Qualifications/Experience/Competencies/ Knowledge
1. An undergraduate degree in Engineering/Physics/Mathematics/Geophysics and Masters Degree in reservoir engineering.
2. Post graduate training in Geothermal Technology would be an added advantage.
3. A minimum of 5 years work experience in geothermal exploration and development.
4. Experience in geothermal exploration, project management and evidence of ability to develop staff.
