We are looking to fill the position of Redistribution Coordinator. The ideal candidate is:
– Organized
– Good communicator
– Proactive
– Familiar with and passionate about environmental and social issues
– Able to commute to Etobicoke/ Mississauaga with ease
Redistribution coordinator description:
1. Maintain a database of local and international charities which have a need for furniture / equipment
2. Maintain the relationship with charities / non-profits
3. Communicate with charitable partners (phone & email) to match the needs with the materials we have and coordinate redistribution
4. Oversee logistical procedures around donation of furniture (transfer of title, charitable receipts, service providers)
5. Manage redistribution database for post-project reporting purposes — fill in reports
6. Organize and oversee our monthly charity open house event Waste 2 Wonder Wednesdays
