The International College of Manitoba (ICM) offers pathway programs to the University of Manitoba. The College is located on the University of Manitoba’s Fort Gary campus, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. ICM is part of Navitas Limited which has colleges in Canada, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. ICM is looking to grow the Marketing team and has a Marketing Manager Position open for a self-driven, team player, results-oriented person with a positive outlook to join our very successful and growing College.

Marketing Manager
Starting Salary: $50,892

Position Purpose:
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing and recruitment plans for specific markets that will result in achieving the recruitment targets for ICM. You will have solid strategic planning skills, strong multi-tasking abilities, good time management and excellent communication skills.

Duties:
Development of country-specific marketing and recruitment strategies
Responsible for the management of the budget and targets related to particular markets.
Recommend the appointment of appropriate agents for ICM
Develop and maintain good relationships with the ICM agent network.
Coordinate with in country staff where appropriate
Provide feedback and reports to the Marketing Director regarding market conditions, competition and other factors which may be relevant to the development of the ICM marketing strategy.
Liaise with the Admissions team, particularly on student conversion, and assist Admissions when required.
Prepare statistical reports as required
Develop strategies for conversion and retention of students from identified markets
Support the e-Marketing and Communications strategy
Travel extensively to markets identified as target countries

Selection Criteria

Essential
Undergraduate degree in marketing and suitable experience
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Demonstrated experience in the use of technology to underpin marketing strategies and increase student numbers
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to ensure that ICM targets are met
Ability to be creative and innovative in designing marketing and recruitment strategies to increase sales
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally for up to 16 weeks per year.
Legal right to work in Canada
