Maintenance Consultant (Interim) £ Neg Scotland
Our client urgently seeks an experienced maintenance professional to be based at their customer site north of Edinburgh for a period of at least six months, or possible up to a year. Accommodation will be provided for the duration and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and one of your briefs will be to recruit a Maintenance Manager for the site on permanent terms with a salary up to £50,000 per annum.
You will be engaged by a leading specialist consultancy known for the predictive maintenance activities and you will be the main client interface for a worldwide manufacturing organisation that need to greatly improve their operational efficiency of the existing plant and their current employees. You will also be involved with recruitment of maintenance personnel at supervisory and technician level to improve the overall maintenance function within an FMCG environment that produces a liquid medium that is non-food.
Your overall brief is to be responsible for contract delivery on mechanical and electrical maintenance services in a manufacturing environment. You will manage PPM & PdM activities with commercial control and to be successful you will have had hands on experience of M & E engineering together with management experience and the flexibility to assist and develop front line maintenance activities as and when required.
Should you be looking for longer term employment there are and will be other client sites throughout the UK & Europe that will need a similar role performed as for example this particular customer has manufacturing operations throughout Europe & the USA.
