Job Description:
The Head of Analyst shall be responsible for the total control over financial analysts and reporting requirements to ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports. The successful candidate shall provide reliable information system for managerial decision making purposes and test the financial viability of all investment plans and advise appropriately. Role reports to the CFO.
Key responsibilities include;
• Responsible for the budgetary control/budgeting processes of the company and preparation of all strategic plans
• Lead cross functional team on all forecasts updates to HQ
• Tracking and reporting of all revenue and costs lines on daily/ weekly and monthly basis and highlighting exceptions
• Financial appraisals and evaluations of all CAPEX and promotional expenditures and post expenditure appraisals
• Decision support to the business on some decisions to be undertaken
• Lead costs saving projects tracking and reporting.
• Ensure consistent reporting and adherence to international financial reporting regulations and guidelines
• Conformity with MIC and SOX requirements within the reporting section with oversight of other finance sections.
Job Skills:
• 7 years minimum work experience with 3 years in managerial role. International working experience is a plus
• Masters Degree from a recognized university in Finance/Accounting
• ACCA, ICAG, CFA
• Good oral and written communication
• Proficient in MS office suite/ Vision
• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus
• Good presentation skills
• Broad knowledge of industry and macroeconomic environment
