Projet Ubuzima is an International Non-Governmental Organization that conducts clinical trials, especially on microbicides and other reproductive tract infections. In this NGO, researchers from Rwanda, the Netherlands, and the United States work together to reduce the spread of the HIV virus and to reduce the
burden of other reproductive tract infections.
We are looking for a Study Physician.
Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager at Projet Ubuzima, the Medical Doctor will have as main responsibility to conduct clinical research in accordance of (inter)national laws and regulations.
Other responsibilities include:
• To perform specialized clinic research procedures, see patients with medical complications, and help out with regular clinic work when needed.
• To review and sign off on official medical study documentation, laboratory tests results and others study documentations.
• To provide clinic input in study protocols, reports and other study documents. Any others tasks as requested by the supervisor.
We are looking for a Medical Doctor with experience in clinic research, preferably specialized in Gynecology-obstetric.
The candidate should have a good command of Kinyarwanda, English and French languages, a good knowledge of reports writing (as regards the international research environment) and be computer literate (knowing the use of MS Word and MS Excel).
Having an initiative spirit and the qualities of a «Team Leader» would be an added advantage. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
