Over the previous three audition sessions, a total of 20 new have been chosen as the search for the girl who will represent Rwanda at the Miss Supranational 2019 in Poland continues.
The beauty contest is co-organized by KS Ltd and Innovations Ltd.
The final auditions at Century Park Hotel, Nyarutarama, on August 11 saw six contestants selected from seven, who turned up for the auditions to complete the top 20, advancing to the next stage of the beauty pageant.
All seven contestants hit the runway and answered questions from the panel of judges composed of former Miss Supranational Clementine Uwase, Dan Kwizera and Christella Mucyo and six of them managed to pass. Only one girl recognized as Beatrice Mukamurigo failed to advance to the next level.
Those who passed by included Benedicta Nyaki, Rosine Uwababyeyi, Alda Gihozo, Cynthia Muzirankoni, Rose Umutoniwase, and Rose Umutoniwase.
Overall, 48 girls registered to compete in Miss Supranational Rwanda’s first edition, but only 24 met the criteria set by the beauty pageant organizers and were picked up for audition.
After the auditions, all 20 contestants who qualified for the next phase were immediately provided numbers that will be used by the public to vote for their favorite contestants. Only SMS voting will be permitted to the public.
Former Miss Rwanda contestants such as Clemence Umukundwa, Anastasie Umutoniwase, Divine Umulisa and Shanitah Umunyana are among the top 20.

SMS voting begins on Thursday, August 15, and runs until August 31.
The first 15 candidates who will receive the largest amount of votes will head to the boot camp scheduled for September 3- 8 at Nobleza Hotel, Kicukiro, where they will give lectures on cultural values, project presentation and runway abilities.
The grand finale is scheduled for September 7 at Century Park Hotel where the winner will pocket a cash prize of Rwf 1,000,000 and an automatic qualification to represent Rwanda at Miss Supranational International in Poland.
The first runner-up will receive Rwf500, 000, while the second runner- up will receive Rwf300, 000 bags and many other awards from multiple sponsors.
