Lagos State APC labeled a defected commissioner a mole and a traitor

The former Lagos State Commissioner
of Energy and Mineral Resources, Olawale Oluwo who dumped the party for the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday 5th December has been
described by the Lagos State chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress
(APC) as a mole and a traitor.

Oluwo returns to the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) was described by the party as an ungrateful act to the
party who had been very magnanimous to him by giving him appointments to reabsorb
him into the party after he returned empty to the party from the PDP after
teaming up with his ally, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi in their failed quest for
the governorship seat in 2007.

The party described the defected
commissioner as an ingrate for returning to his old ways which left him with
nothing politically rather than pledge allegiance to a party that have done so
much for him.

The party refuted Oluwo’s claims
that he left the party as a protest to the just concluded party primaries and
called him as an opportunist who is always looking for ways to achieve his
selfish aims rather than working for the success of the party. In addition, the
party cautions others who are still acting as spies in the party to hasten
their footstep and leave the party alone.

The Lagos State APC has stated
that they cannot be intimidated or fall for the cheap blackmails of Oluwo who
felt aggrieved and leave the party when all his attempts towards making his
wife a local government chairman failed.

The party claimed that from the
very first day he resumed as a commissioner under the Ambode’s administration
he started to pursue his selfish ambitions to advance his selfish political sphere and
also he had been fighting a very rough fight to get his wife into a chairmanship position
in his local government not minding the stand of the party.
